Vandalism Prevention Tips
Dear fellow neighbors,
I'm here to give some tips on prevention against vandalism.
1. Get to know your neighbors and ask them to keep an eye on your properties.
2. When parking outside try to park your car in an attended car park.
3. Equip your car with a safety alarm.
4. Be careful of people following behind you.
5. Be careful of everywhere you go.
If you have any queries, please visit the neighbourhood police post.
Be reminded that an offence of Vandalism under Section 3 of the Vandalism Act, carries a punishment of imprisonment of up to three years or fine up to $2,000, and caning of not more than eight strokes.
Under the Penal Code, the commission of the robbery may result in the death penalty.
Littering could result in a S$1,000 fine for first offenders, and up to S$2,000 fine and a stint of corrective work order cleaning a public place for repeat offenders.

Neighbourhood Group Watch
Dear fellow neighbors,
Last night, Friday 19th October 2009, while I was parking my car at Block 10 level 3 multi-storey carpark. When I went over, I saw all the cars had been sprayed with paint and scratched. Although I saw it with own eyes, but I still cannot believe that someone will do such thing to other people properties. Hope that everyone can look out for each other and inform if there is any suspicious characters loitering around your neighborhoods. There is a policeman named Pete, you can check with him for tips on how to park your cars in a safe way .
P.S: Hope you can forward this message to all our neighbors to warn them about the vandalism around us. If you have any queries, you can contact me at Jon77@hotmail.com

Secondary School Boy Get Beaten Up By Gangsters
I'm posting this post on behalf of Mr Poh Hu Li from Block 4, vic street. To cover the incident that happened just yesterday. A group of 4 chinese teenagers between the age of 16-18 years of age was found loitering at the car park. They were looking suspicious as if they were going to commit crimes( motorcycle theft, vandalism, etc.) Mr Poh decided to take a closer look and to his surprise, he found the group of boys beating up a secondary school boy between the age of 13-14 years of age. This incident happened at about 5.35pm in the evening.
Mr Poh wants me to cover this to make the neighbourhood aware of the risk of dangers in the neighbourhood. Hopefully help create an awareness to the rest of the residents in the neighourhood.
With reference to the previous post on vandalism, Mr Poh has no comments.
